A New Academic Opportunity for AIC Students

Avicenna International College is pleased to introduce a new academic pathway designed to expand international opportunities for its students and respond to the evolving demands of global education.

The AIC Global Pathway enables students to earn a Canadian high school diploma (OSSD) while continuing their European-Hungarian education within the AIC system. This development reflects a carefully designed academic structure that connects two educational systems in a clear and manageable way.

A Structured and Carefully Developed Pathway

This pathway has not been created as a simple add on or parallel program. It is the result of a detailed academic alignment process and a verified institutional collaboration built on international educational standards.

Over time, the academic structure, curriculum, and teaching approach at AIC have been carefully reviewed and evaluated to ensure that they meet the requirements of the Canadian education system. This alignment allows a significant portion of the work already completed by AIC students to be recognized within the pathway leading to OSSD.

As a result, students are not required to repeat what they have already studied.

One Academic Journey, Not Two Separate Programs

In many traditional models, pursuing two diplomas requires following two separate academic tracks, often leading to increased pressure and duplicated coursework.

The AIC Global Pathway has been designed to offer a different approach.

Students continue their main studies within the Hungarian diploma system while selected subjects are recognized and aligned. Only a limited number of additional courses are required, chosen based on the student’s academic direction and future plans.

This creates a single, structured academic journey that is both efficient and balanced.

Reducing Pressure While Maintaining Quality

A key advantage of this pathway is its ability to maintain academic quality while reducing unnecessary workload.

The Canadian OSSD diploma is based on continuous assessment, where student performance is evaluated over time through coursework, assignments, and projects (70%). This approach supports consistent progress and deeper understanding rather than reliance on a single final examination (30%).

At the same time, students benefit from the structured environment and mentorship provided by AIC, ensuring that they remain supported throughout their studies.

Designed for Students with Strong Academic Foundations

This pathway is particularly well suited for students who are looking to expand their opportunities with an internationally recognized qualification.

By recognizing prior learning and aligning academic content, the program allows students to move forward with clarity and confidence, without unnecessary repetition.

Students remain fully engaged in their AIC education while extending their academic profile in a meaningful way.

Expanding Opportunities Without Leaving Europe

One of the key advantages of this model is that it allows students to access a globally recognized qualification without needing to relocate to Canada or other locations.

Students can continue their education within the AIC environment while opening additional pathways for university applications in Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, and other international systems.

This combination of stability and expanded opportunity is an important part of the value this pathway provides.

A Strategic Step Forward for AIC

The introduction of the Global Pathway represents an important step in the continued development of AIC’s academic model.

It reflects a long term commitment to building educational structures that are both forward looking and grounded in strong academic principles. By combining a European educational foundation with access to international qualifications, AIC continues to broaden the academic possibilities available to its students.
