Grade 12 students at Avicenna International College celebrated a meaningful graduation day shaped by memories, growth, friendship, and new beginnings.

On April 30, 2026, Avicenna International College in Budapest hosted one of the most emotional and meaningful events of the academic year: the Grade 12 graduation ceremony.

For students, mentors, families, and friends, the day represented far more than the completion of school. It marked the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. A moment shaped by years of learning, growth, challenges, friendships, and personal transformation.

A Graduation Rooted in Tradition and Connection

The ceremony began with one of AIC’s most cherished traditions.

The graduating students started their farewell journey from their own classrooms and walked together through the corridors of the College while singing, revisiting familiar spaces, and sharing final moments as a group.

It was not simply a walk through the building.

It was a reflection of the years they had spent together. Step by step, space by space, memory by memory.

As students arrived at the ceremony, accompanied by music selected by the graduating class and the well known melody of Gaudeamus Igitur, the atmosphere became filled with pride, excitement, gratitude, and quiet nostalgia.

At AIC, moments like this are never viewed as merely formal ceremonies. They are deeply human experiences that carry stories, emotions, and lasting memories.

More Than Academic Achievement

For every student standing there, graduation represented much more than academic success.

It reflected:

  • personal growth
  • resilience
  • friendship
  • self discovery
  • confidence
  • and the transition into a new stage of life

At Avicenna International College, education is viewed as a journey of becoming rather than simply a process of passing exams or completing subjects.

Students are encouraged not only to learn, but also to develop independence, emotional maturity, curiosity, and the confidence to shape their future.

Speeches, Reflections, and Shared Emotions

The ceremony unfolded through a series of meaningful and carefully prepared moments.

Dr. Shahrokh MirzaHosseini joined the event online and shared his heartfelt message with the graduating students. His speech reflected both pride and encouragement, reminding students that the future ahead carries both responsibility and opportunity.

Mr. Steve also addressed the students and reflected on the years they had spent at AIC. He spoke about their development, achievements, and the mindset they had built during their time at the College.

His message was simple but powerful.
The future will bring challenges, but they are prepared for it.

Students from younger grades also participated in the ceremony by sharing memories, reflections, and good wishes with the graduating class, helping continue the traditions and spirit of the AIC community.

The Power of Small Human Moments

Some of the most memorable parts of the ceremony were also the simplest.

One particularly emotional moment came when younger students shared handwritten personal messages with each graduate.

These were not formal speeches or prepared statements.

They were honest, thoughtful, and deeply personal words that reflected friendship, gratitude, admiration, and connection.

The moment transformed the ceremony into something even more meaningful. It became a reminder that education is ultimately about people, relationships, and experiences that stay with us long after graduation.

The speeches delivered by the graduating students themselves carried the same emotional depth.

Filled with humor, memories, honesty, gratitude, and emotion, their words brought smiles, laughter, and even tears to many in the audience.

A Symbolic Ending and a New Beginning

As the ceremony moved toward its final moments in the school courtyard, students participated in another long standing tradition.

Together, they released balloons into the sky.

Each balloon symbolized hopes, dreams, ambitions, and everything that lies ahead.

As the balloons rose, so did a shared feeling among everyone present.

This was not an ending.

It was a beginning.

The event concluded with group photographs capturing the final shared moments of this chapter before each student continued forward on their own path.

The AIC Philosophy of Learning and Growth

At Avicenna International College, learning goes beyond classrooms and beyond knowledge itself.

The College’s educational philosophy focuses on helping students:

  • think independently
  • grow with confidence
  • develop emotionally
  • and become future ready individuals

Through mentorship, active learning, and a human centered educational environment, AIC continues building a culture where learning feels alive and meaningful.

The Grade 12 graduation ceremony reflected these values in a deeply authentic way.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026

We proudly congratulate all our Grade 12 students.

We are proud of your journey.
We are proud of your growth.
And we are excited for everything that lies ahead of you.

This is not the end.

This is where your next chapter begins.
