On a beautiful autumn day at 9.30 am, 22 students met in Heroes' Square to take part in the first of a series of AIC-organized city tours, called ‘Step in the footsteps of heroes’. AIC started the beginning of academic year 2023-24 with a surprisingly wonderful cultural program, a unique and one-of-a-kind folk dance play performed by the Hungarian National Dance Ensemble and the Honvéd Férfikar in MÜPA.The lucky 21 students who were involved in the event were from grade 9 accompanied by the Italian Erasmus students, and met in front of the theater on 20. CYBERBULLYING When we first arrived, our Spanish trainer, Manolo, warmly welcomed us and introduced himself and then asked each participant to briefly introduce himself or herself. Participants’ countries were Poland, Hungary and Croatia. We were introduced to a platform called Padlet where the timetable and the Info Pack were uploaded which we had received before our mobility to get familiar with what we were going to see and do. Flipped Classroom – Anatolia Education, Paris, France (10–15 July, 2023) I participated in my second Erasmus+ course during the summer holiday of 2023. 36 AIC participants took part in this year’s School Trip to go to Sopron and Vienna on 13-15 June. We were 26 students and 10 colleagues strong, including our 5 Italian Erasmus students and their accompanying teacher for the trip Agatino, who came to us on a Job Shadowing assignment for the last week of the 2022-23 academic year.

 On 2 June our Students and Colleagues celebrated the much-awaited second edition of an Avicenna sequel called International Student Festival (AISF2). This Festival is the celebration of diversity and cultural awareness at AIC and its popularity and importance is on the rise as many more AISFs will follow.
