Some of the students of Avicenna Medical Foundation Program who have arrived in Budapest late due to COVID-19 restrictions met with the President of AIC today on Monday, January 12th, 2021. After an introduction, students raised their questions and shared their concerns and requests. President mentioned that extra classes will be organized for them and all required support will be provided to ensure that the pre-medical students are admitted to one of the Hungarian or other European medical universities. The President of Avicenna International College held two separate consultation sessions today for the English Foundation Program (FEP) and German Foundation Program (GFP) students. In this session, students had a chance to introduce themselves and also learn about the main points to be raised when a student introduces himself/herself. Students also had a chance to explain their academic goals in the future. Similar sessions will be held in the future considering the health regulations and COVID-19 protection measures.

The interview section of the semi-final exams of the Avicenna International College took place on the 5th of January 2021. Interviews are new to most or all of AIC students. This is a good occasion for the students to experience an interview session which they will soon face when they apply for admission to universities in Hungary and other European countries. Fluency in spoken English is essential for any successful interview, however, the academic knowledge of the student will determine the results. AIC students get plenty of occasions to practice and learn interview skills.

The semi-final exams of the Avicenna International College are taking place as we started the new year of 2021. Students took the written part on the 4th of January. They will continue with the interview component on the 5th of January. New students will take the APT (Avicenna Placement Test). We hope that 2021 will bring success to all our students.

Students of AIC take A-Level mock exam EDEXCEL A-Level Students of AIC take A-Level mock exam in "English Language and Literature". This exam was on "Exploring Voices in Speech and Writing". AIC students score high in all A-level exams despite the obstacles imposed by COVID-19 pandemic.

The Ambassador of Iran to Hungary, H.E. Mr. Arefi, and the respected Consul, Mr. Aghamohammadi, paid a visit to Avicenna International College (AIC) on Friday (2020/11/20). They met with a small group of representative students. All health protocols including wearing a face mask, proper distancing, and a maximum number of 10 participants were observed. The President of AIC, Dr. MirzaHosseini, welcomed the Head of Mission and the Consul.
