AIC is now accreditated and recognized by OCN NI

Avicenna International College has taken another major step in its internationalization path. Many hours of hard and dedicated work in a delicate process has resulted in success. AIC is now accreditated and recognized by OCN NI.

OCN NI is one of the major, best-known and prestigious accreditation bodies in the UK. AIC can now deliver over 100 UK-accredited programs in Budapest.

We are proud to announce that our Hungarian and international students received their érettségi (High School Diploma) from the Hungarian Government after completing their studies at the “English-Hungarian Bi-lingual International High School” of Avicenna International College. This degree is accepted in Hungary and all around the world. With this degree, our graduate students can study in Hungary or any other European country with no need for accreditation or evaluation. This degree states that our students have successfully completed high school or secondary studies. It is also a European language certificate (similar to IELTS). So our students do not need to take any other language test during university studies. This degree states that they have English knowledge equal to C1 and also in Hungarian language minimum equal to B1 or B2.

AIC Students Take Semmelweis Entrance Exam at Home

After my telephone conversation today with Semmelweis University concerning the entrance exam and with respect to the fact your health and safety is the most important goal both for the university and college, it was agreed that our students will take the entrance exam from their homes. The situation with Szeged University is being discussed for a joint or separate exam and I will inform you soon.

Avicenna International College – UK

Right after Brexit, Dr. Shahrokh MirzaHosseini, President of Avicenna International College (AIC) held talks with the education authorities in the Uk and met with several UK partner universities. After several years of intense work and after the successful launch of the NCUK center in Budapest, It was decided that AIC will establish a branch in the UK. The request of AIC was reviewed and granted with a positive decision.
As of March 14, 2020, “Avicenna International College – UK” is officially incorporated and will provide educational services to the UK and international students. This is a great step for AIC global development, especially in relation to its UK and British standards.

Semmelweis and Szeged University Entrance Exam Preparation Online Course

Dear Students of AIC,
Dear Applicants to Semmelweis and Szeged Universities,

The entrance exam to these universities is getting closer. Although we have not received any new instructions from the universities about these exams, we should assume that the exams will be held as scheduled, unless otherwise instructed.

AIC Students Should Attend all Online Classes

We are in an emergency situation. Yet, the response of AIC to the extraordinary conditions have been prompt and adequate. This has been recognized by the Hungarian Education Authority and the Ministry.
AIC was the first in Hungary to provide online education and since then all our teachers are providing education in their classes.
