In March 2023, Avicenna International College (“Avicenna”) signed a memorandum of understanding with Corvinus University of Budapest. Avicenna is a unique local high school in Budapest, that teaches Hungarian curriculum in English language to predominantly international students. Although the University has more than 250 international partners and works with many of the leading high schools in Hungary, this agreement is the first of its kind for Corvinus. Avicenna International College Hungarian-English Bilingual High School held the Graduation Ceremony of the 2022–2023 academic year on the afternoon of May 4th. During this event the school bids farewell to the graduating high schoolers, and the graduates thank the teachers, staff and school mates for all the joyous memories they shared together.

The Federation of Education in Europe held its annual General Assembly in Milan from April 04, 2023. Representations from different countries and educational institutions participated in the event. The promenade (prom) dance night of AIC seniors coupled with the ribbon ceremony (’Szalagavató’ in Hungarian, [lit] ribbon graduation) was held on the 17th of November (Thursday), for the second time in the Ferencváros Cultural Center and Theater. During the ceremony, the Principal of Avicenna High School (Mr. Steve Szabó) gave a welcome speech to open the event highlighting the vast number of international students in the graduating year. The President of Avicenna International College, Dr. Shahrokh MirzaHosseini, personally represented the college at the ICEF 2022 event in Berlin. The event took place at the Intercontinental hotel which is interestingly located on the "Budapest Street". The conference took place between October 31 and November 01 with intensive meetings and seminars with educational experts and consultants from all over the world. AIC congratulates Mirsadra Molaei, 2017 alum of the AIC Avicenna Medical Foundation Program, and current 4th year Semmelweis University Pharmacy student on winning 1st prize at the Semmelweis TDK Scientific Conference. From 2021 Mirsadra joined the Bioanalytical NMR Research Group of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry under the supervision of Dr. Arash Mirzahosseini. Mr. Andras Piko, Mayor of Budapest 8th District, accompanied by the Deputy-Mayor and the Head of Cabinet, visited Avicenna International College on Tuesday 26 of October 2021. On this occasion, AIC colleagues introduced the educational programs for the Hungarian and international students.
