Spanish and Turkish Erasmus students at AIC17-21 February 2025 This week from 17 to 21 February marked the return of Erasmus groups to Avicenna after the long winter break. We were delighted to welcome a group of Spanish adult students from near Madrid from a partner language school Escuela Oficial de Idiomas de Rivas-Arganda who sent students to us for the 3rd time. British Biology Olympiad 202511 February 2025 " Students from G11, G12 and ADPS programs sat for the UKBC British Biology Olympiad 2025 organized at Avicenna International College on February 11, 2025. This competition was participated by 18,533 students from 1053 schools from around the world. Valentine’s Day at Avicenna 14th February 2025 The Student Council works hard behind the scenes to bring exciting programs to life, often long before the student community even thinks about them! This was especially true for our Valentine’s Day celebration, which was all about spreading love, friendship, and appreciation within our school. AIC English Language competition 10th February 2025 As a member of the Department of Languages and Communication, I was thrilled when our vice-principal invited me to take part in the Third Avicenna English Competition. I could not have imagined how successful this event would be. I was delighted to see nearly 400 students participating in such a display of intellect. I was pleased to see young students from diverse national and linguistic backgrounds join us, arriving well-prepared to compete in the written test. Farewell party for Italian Erasmus students Jan 29, 2025 It has become a rewarding habit of ours at Avicenna to receive students from other EU high schools for the duration of 1 month, 1 semester or even for a whole year. Students join grade 11 and follow regular lessons just as a typical AIC student would do, to further develop their language and academic skills with a lot of cultural and social interactions.
