AIC Partnership
Tomori Pal College (TPF) and Avicenna International College (AIC) have entered into a partnership for the joint, high-level, quality education and the most effective recruitment of international students.
This partnership is built on 3 main levels:
I. Through the TPF-AIC cooperation Secondary School education programs, providing Hungarian high school baccalaureates (“érettségi”) are available, that are mainly implemented in English and are available to both Hungarian and foreign students.
II. Joint university preparatory programs (also known as Diploma Programs) offered by TPF and AIC primarily in English (or German).
III. University bachelor’s degree (so-called Bachelor – BA) programs based on TPF and FEDE-AIC accreditation.
TPF-AIC Programs
I. TPF-AIC high school programs
As a result of the above mentioned cooperation, TPF’s high school programs focusing primarily on business and commercial majors will be complemented by educational programs providing Hungarian high school graduation (baccalaureate – érettségi), available through the general high school and/or bio-medical study high school programs provided by AIC in English. This secondary school program of the AIC consists of a 1-year preparatory course and a 4-year (G9-G12) high school training that is accredited by the Hungarian Government (OM number: 201799), as it can be read on the ministry’s website: (https://kirint.kir.hu/IntezmenyKerse/Intezmeny/Index/201799).
II. TPF-AIC university preparatory (diploma) programs
TPF and AIC have agreed to provide joint English language preparatory programs for university studies. These programs, successfully provided by AIC for many years, are extremely popular among international students who wish to continue their studies in English (or German) language in Hungary. Now the two institutions have combined their resources and academic knowledge to provide even better and more structured programs for their international students:
- Avicenna Diploma in Pre-Medical Studies (ADPS)
- Diploma in English Language Studies (DELS)
- Diploma in German language Studies (DGLS)
- Diploma in Business and Marketing (DBM)
- Diploma in IT and Technology (DITT)
- Diploma in Graduate Studies Pre-Master (DGSM)
- Diploma in Graduate Studies Pre-PhD (DGSP)
III. The FEDE bachelor’s courses (BA) offered by TPF-AIC:
TPF traditionally teaches its own university bachelor’s (BA) programs, the range of which will now be expanded through the TPF-AIC cooperation – thanks to the FEDE accreditation awarded by AIC (Dr. Shahrokh MirzaHosseini, TPF’s vice Rector responsible for international relations is also a member of FEDE’s Board of Directors) with the following:
- FEDE – European Bachelor’s Degree: IT, Networks and Security
- FEDE – European Bachelor’s Degree: Digital Marketing
- FEDE – European Bachelor in Tourism and Hotel Management
- FEDE – European Master in Tourism and Hotel Management
Visa
All TPF-AIC students are eligible for a Schengen study visa. After the TPF-AIC application process has been successfully completed and the students have received the final admission certificate (Admission Letter) and they’ve paid the annual tuition fee (AIC 02 form), they must apply for Visa at a Hungarian Embassy or Consulate covering their country. Students are responsible for preparing and submitting all required documents. Students must also prepare for a consular interview, where they must explain their plans and further education intentions during their stay in Hungary.
Application Forms
The TPF-AIC programs are recommended to international students from all over the world to apply for. Pls. note, that due to the different educational systems established around the world and due to the different beginnings and endings of academic years, TPF-AIC welcome applications from international students throughout the year, but the full-fledged courses usually start 2-3 times annually. TPF-AIC also provide online education for those who have been admitted to any of the TPF-AIC programs but are in the phase of Visa application process.
Avicenna – Semmelweis Scholarship
Talented students can apply for full or partial support to continue their studies through the Avicenna-Semmelweis scholarship provided by Avicenna International College. This scholarship is announced by AIC at certain times of the year and offered not only for medical studies (the scholarship program is named after Dr. Ignác Semmelweis, the famous Hungarian physician and scientist), but also for students interested is various other fields of study.
