STEAM Explorers Program for Group Mobility Eight students with their accompanying teacher from AIC participated in an Erasmus+ group activity in Nocera Umbra, Italy hosted by Istituto Omnicomprensivo Dante Alighieri. The group gathered early Sunday morning in Budapest airport before taking off to Italy’s Roma Ciampino airport.After landing, the group had lunch in the airport before riding a Flixbus heading to Foligno where two representatives of the hosting organization were waiting for our arrival, Luisa and Alessio. Environmental Changes for Sustainable Schools This course regarding environmental sustainability education at schools took place in the middle of summer, and as such it was a natural choice since we are about to lunch our Eco-school application. The training took place in one of the two headquarter buildings of Europass Academy in central Florence. My classmates came from Bulgaria, Greece, Portugal and Spain, and also one Hungarian lady.The main themes of this teacher training were the 17 UN sustainability goals and Permaculture. CYBERBULLYING When we first arrived, our Spanish trainer, Manolo, warmly welcomed us and introduced himself and then asked each participant to briefly introduce himself or herself. Participants’ countries were Poland, Hungary and Croatia. We were introduced to a platform called Padlet where the timetable and the Info Pack were uploaded which we had received before our mobility to get familiar with what we were going to see and do.
