Accompanying teacher and Erasmus coordinator Steve Szabó

“We embarked on our first Erasmus group mobility on 15 October with 8 carefully selected AIC students from grade 11 and 12. It was going to be the very last trip for our 12 graders. Our photographer Mr Reza also accompanied us on this one week- long, very busy and rewarding, promising travel-and-study trip to the Green Heart of Italy, Umbria, to a little, green hilltop town Nocera Umbra.”

3rd group mobility of AIC Students, Steve Szabó, (April, 2023):

Detailed programme of AIC Erasmus Group Mobility activities on 21-28 April in ASSISI (Umbria)

This was the very first time we visited our new partner high school the Liceo Sesto Properzio in Assisi, in this beautiful and picturesque historical city in Umbria, which is a UNESCO cultural heritage site with amazing architecture and nature found on a hilltop. The weather was supposed to be springy at the end of April but to our biggest surprise winter came back for a few days with a lot of rain and temperatures dropped to unusual 6-8 degrees instead of the season specific 17-20 degrees. We reached Assisi by train from Roma Termini after an about 2 hours train ride that took us through the magnificent Umbrian countryside.
