On March 15th, we gather to commemorate the Revolution of 1848, the Hungarian War of Independence against the Habsburg monarchy, a pivotal event in our quest for independence and democratic rights. The students in grade 10 made it their goal that, in the short time they had, they would strive to make it as outstanding as possible, including songs, poems, and re-enactments of historical events to help demonstrate and provide a better understanding. Initially, their ideas were scattered, so they sought to find a central theme upon which to build their performance. This central theme was [...]
Experience description – Job Shadowing in Istituto Omnicomprensivo D.Alighieri, Nocera Umbra, Italy As the Erasmus coordinator at my school the AIC, I couldn’t do without this novel experience to try myself to teach at another EU high school. I picked a partner school with which we have been in close cooperation with over the last 3 years, ever since we started our Erasmus programmes at AIC. Beside being the principal, I am also a Biology teacher, so I took advantage of both and planned my activities at the Istituto Omnicomprensivo Dante Alighierei accordingly. I knew the school itself as [...]
Knowledge of finance and marketing is vital for high school students to be successful in both their personal and professional lives. This understanding is essential for personal financial management, career readiness, economic mindfulness, entrepreneurship, and critical thinking skills. Setting a math contest focused on finance and marketing can help students improve important skills, gain practical knowledge, and prepare for future accomplishment in a broad range of professions. We set the project day as [...]

My choice of course was a different one regarding structured educational visits but unfortunately that one was cancelled with my accommodation and flight ticket already booked so I had to look elsewhere and I found this. I knew the location and as it turned out the trainer Olga as well, from a previous course which was an unexpected surprise. My 8 classmates came from Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia and Poland, one of them was also a school director, in this case a primary school director. When you join these Erasmus courses you can expect one [...]
