First Winter Camp, January 2025

First Winter Camp January 2025 Avicenna International College has organized its first Winter Camp in January 2025 in Budapest. The camp welcomed six students from Chongqing, China, along with one English teacher for a week-long immersive experience filled with cultural, educational, and sports activities. Participants enjoyed hands-on traditional Hungarian polo training while also attending advanced medical classes that deepened their interest in medical studies. Grade 12 students’ visit to the International Education Fair

Grade 12 students’ visit to the International Education Fair January the 10th was another special day at Avicenna. We gathered grade 12 students in the 3rd lesson with Mr Reza, our distinguished photographer, Maurizio, our guest, job shadowing Italian teacher and Mr Steve the form master of G12 and school principal to take them to the Hungexpo by bus where the biggest national higher education fair took place.  The Educational Fair is organised every year in January and visited by a number of school groups and lasts usually 3 consecutive days but this one we visited was the biggest one so far. AI training for the teachers of AIC- Dec 14, 2024 Early in December, 2024, more than 20 teachers at AIC participated in a practical workshop to learn how they can use various AI and digital learning tools to create tasks and thematic lesson plans for competency-focused, task-based, and discussion-centered education. Field Trip for Grade12 HFL Students to the Strudel House and the Ethnographic Visitors Center During their Hungarian as a Foreign Language (HFL) class, Grade12 students learnt about Hungarian culinary traditions as well as city and village life in Hungary. English teacher from Spain on Job Shadowing at AIC Last week I had the great pleasure to spend a week at Avicenna International College as part of an Erasmus+ mobility program. From the very first day at school I felt very welcomed by both staff and students. I had a great time learning about different teaching strategies while immersing myself in an authentic international learning environment. First, they explored the external parts of the heart and learned how to differentiate the right from the left side of the heart along with finding some structures from the outside.
