AIC Celebrates World Kidney Day with Inspiring Talks and a New Initiative To mark World Kidney Day (WKD), Avicenna International College (AIC) hosted a special event focused on kidney health and education. Students had the opportunity to listen to Dr. László Rosivall, Professor Emeritus of Semmelweis University and founder of the Hungarian Kidney Foundation. Turkish Erasmus students at AIC24-28 February 2025 On February 24-28 the Avicenna community received a Turkish Erasmus group of 9 students from 3 different schools and cities: Gaziantep, Kilis and Sanliurfa. They were accompanied by 3 lead teachers, one from each school. The students were specially picked and prepared by their schools and they had a memorable and a great time at Avicenna despite spending only 5 days with us. Second Nándori Pastry Shop Field Trip On March 6th, 2025, Ms. Erika took her Hungarian as a Foreign Language (HFL) G11 students to Nándori Pastry shop. The location was a popular fieldtrip site last year, as well amongst the HFL students. During this CSP program, G11students had a chance to see an old pastry shop, dating back hundreds of years. Spanish and Turkish Erasmus students at AIC17-21 February 2025 This week from 17 to 21 February marked the return of Erasmus groups to Avicenna after the long winter break. British Biology Olympiad 202511 February 2025 " Students from G11, G12 and ADPS programs sat for the UKBC British Biology Olympiad 2025 organized at Avicenna International College on February 11, 2025. This competition was participated by 18,533 students from 1053 schools from around the world.
