Having met at Szell Kalman Square at 10.30, the six AIC students with the guides took a few minute’s rides by bus (16A)  to the Royal Castle. We started our tour at the Castle side of the medieval city on Castle Hill, which lies and is still inhabited by locals in the heart of the Capital. Mr. Andras Piko, Mayor of Budapest 8th District, accompanied by the Deputy-Mayor and the Head of Cabinet, visited Avicenna International College on Tuesday 26 of October 2021. On this occasion, AIC colleagues introduced the educational programs for the Hungarian and international students. The cultural and extracurricular programs were also introduced which drew the attention of the delegation. The program started in Heroes’ Square, one of the major squares in Budapest, a site of Unesco World Heritage, built for the National Exhibition during the  Millenary Celebrations in 1896.

Those who complete the program successfully will be granted a high school graduation diploma (Erettsegi) by the Hungarian Government. AIC held its second graduation ceremony for the 12th-grade students of the International High School Program (2016-2021) On Monday (15.06.2021). This year was full of isolation for many, therefore we were extremely happy to be able to organize this event.
