Avicenna International College (AIC) has been permitted by the Education Authority of Hungary to provide Distant Learning for English language High School programs (General High school and Natural Sciences High school). Those who complete the program successfully will be granted a high school graduation diploma (Erettsegi) by the Hungarian Government. AIC held its second graduation ceremony for the 12th-grade students of the International High School Program (2016-2021) On Monday (15.06.2021). This year was full of isolation for many, therefore we were extremely happy to be able to organize this event. Semmelweis University has improved its previous position in the 2021 world rankings of the “US News Best Global Universities” in several disciplines. The university was ranked related to 8 medical and health science professions, ranking first in each field in Hungary. The university also achieved the best ranking this year in the “Cardiology and Cardiovascular System” field, which improved twenty-five places and became the 87th best higher education institution in the world in this field.
