On October 6, AIC held its annual commemoration of the Arad Martyrs, honoring their courage, sacrifice, and enduring legacy in Hungary’s struggle for freedom during the 1848–49 Revolution and War of Independence. The event offered students a deeper understanding of the human values, personal sacrifices, and lasting impact of those who gave their lives for justice and national independence.

A special feature of this year’s program was the exhibition of AI-generated artworks created by AIC students. Using GenAI image creator tools, students designed portraits of the Arad Martyrs as part of an ongoing AI-integrated school project. Through this initiative, AIC encourages students to explore selected AI tools while developing their cultural awareness, creativity, critical thinking, and digital literacy.

All AIC students participated in preparing the commemoration, with a dedicated group of 10–12 volunteers contributing to the live presentations. The event, organized by Mr. Attila Kaszás, featured a moving musical performance by Kathy-Horváth Lajos and his renowned orchestra, and a special address by Prof. Dr. László Rosivall, who reflected on the values of courage, freedom, and national identity that continue to inspire generations.
