Successful studies at any European or North American university

At Avicenna International College prepares the students for successful studies at any European or North American university with respect to general and academic English skills. All credits of DELS are designed based on CEFR (Common European Framework of References for Languages) and prepare our students in 4 skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) for international examinations such as IELTS. 

English Foundation Program (DELS) is an intensive course which prepares students both in general and academic English. Upon completion of this one year course, students can take international exams such as IELTS or FEDE language exams and earn international certificates.

During the course of DELS students will be trained in all four language skills. Classes will cover reading, speaking, listening, communication and presentation, grammar and vocabulary.

EFP students will have at least 20 hours of classes every week. All classes are taught by expert English teachers. Students should spend an equal amount of hours or more for self-study and library work.

The English level of students and their progress will be regularly measured by WPT (Weekly Progress Test), mid-term and final exams.

Hungarian and international students can apply to join EFP. Applicants can hold a high school degree or any university degree. Students with university degree apply for this course to enhance their knowledge of English and prepare for further university studies in Europe or North America.
