Grade 11 of AIC High School program is in parallel with A Level -1 which prepares the students for a Cambridge qualification. Students can choose to follow both programs simultaneously with spending a little more time and effort. At this grade, AIC students are already fluent in English and have taken a few international exams. Further consolidation of languages and sciences continues at this grade, yet students get introduced to university admission requirements.

Grade 11 is based on the subjects of Grade 10. This year focuses on both languages and sciences in more depth. Hungarian and English are taught to both Hungarian and international students. Languages are taught within the CEFR standards.

All subjects are taught in English. During the course of Grade 11, students study subjects and topics which are in accordance with the requirements of the Hungarian government, the so-called “National Framework of Syllabus”. These subjects and topics are also covering the A Level 1 or AS Level content. Students may also choose to start their IB Diploma Program from year 11. Our students upon completion of Grade 11 will have a great progress in sciences and languages. They are getting ready to examine their university and field of study for higher education.

Similar to previous years, our students will be taking exams of IELTS, FEDE or TOEFL or other national and international exams.

Grade 11 runs in parallel to AS Level and IBDP-1. (if they enrol in the program). Students will follow all the requirements of Grade 11 as stipulated by the Ministry of Education of Hungary. All credits and topics and the hours of education are in accordance with the rules and regulations of Hungary and European Union. Qualified and registered teachers with master and PhD degrees teach the students.
Upon successful completion of this year students have completed AS Level requirements (if they enrol in the program) and are therefore promoted to AS Level (Cambridge system) or IBDP-1 (IB Diploma Program year 1).
All the examinations, presence and activities of the students are monitored by the Ministry of Education in Hungary and by other international accreditation authorities. Extracurricular activities are organized during the year. All such activities are with educational goals to train and raise the future “Global Citizens”.
