In a letter addressed to Mr. Dani Csaba, the Principal of Avicenna International College, Dr. Veres Gabor from the Ministry of Human Capacities congratulates and welcomes the distance learning program of AIC to prevent the spreading of coronavirus. AIC canceled its classes two weeks before the Government decided to close the schools. Upon calling off the classes, Avicenna International College immediately launched its online education program thanks to the hard work of the experts at the IT Department and the close cooperation of the faculty and teachers. AIC plans to further develop its distance learning resources and strategies in the near future.

Semmelweis University Publishes its Coronavirus Action Plan

Students of Avicenna International College (AIC), High School and Foundation Programs I would like to inform you that all the classes of AIC from today March 5, 2020, will be canceled for one week. There has been NO case of Coronavirus infection among our students so far. However, we have taken all the steps to introduce preventive measures against the virus. This decision is also for the same reason to protect our students. Meantime, the teachers of AIC will come to college and we will decide about providing distance education for this period. Further instructions will be communicated to you under my supervision.

AIC students and faculty get ready to fight Coronavirus As a measure to prevent any possible Coronavirus infection, AIC has issued the "Prevention and Protection Policy Against Corona Virus Infection at Avicenna International College". This policy outlines the regulations for increased health and hygiene measures as well as the precautions to be taken for students arriving from areas where the Coronavirus has infected many people. The AIC students of Grade 12 celebrated their last year and the entrance to the season of final exams in a ceremony called "szalagavató" or "Senior Students Ball: Prom". The event took place on the 13th of December, 2019. The president of AIC, the Prinicipal, other authorities and teachers together with parents enjoyed the evening at Avicenna International College.
