On a beautiful autumn day at 9.30 am, 22 students met in Heroes' Square to take part in the first of a series of AIC-organized city tours, called ‘Step in the footsteps of heroes’. This cultural programme is an opportunity for our young adults, mainly Persians, students, who have been coming to AIC for a few weeks, to gain an insight into the culture, behavior and customs of EU citizens and the history of the country. On 2 October, our 7 Italian Erasmus students volunteered to plant flower bulbs in our garden at AIC. The idea was to plant bulbous flowering plant bulbs at the beginning of the autumn season and photo document the whole process as it was a noble work done by their own hands. As you can see in the photos, they did not hesitate to get down to work to leave a mark for the whole AIC community so that when spring comes, they can pose with the fruit or shall we say the flowers of their work just before they wrap [...]

I had a dream same as every other kid. I wanted to make it into the National team of Hungary. It was a big goal for me that I wanted to achieve no matter what. I started training in 2022 in a local gym where the trainers saw me and told me that I should try powerlifting competitively. After thinking about it I took my chances and I joined my current team Sirius Lifting. I started working together with a coach as soon as possible to be able to compete in November. We had an amazing preparation for the competition and I made it to my first competition in November which was a National qualification competition. At that competition I became second and by that I qualified to National championship.

AIC started the beginning of academic year 2023-24 with a surprisingly wonderful cultural program, a unique and one-of-a-kind folk dance play performed by the Hungarian National Dance Ensemble and the Honvéd Férfikar in MÜPA.The lucky 21 students who were involved in the event were from grade 9 accompanied by the Italian Erasmus students, and met in front of the theater on 20. Paris, France - The Federation of European Education (FEDE) held its latest Steering Committee meeting in the enchanting city of Paris on September 21, 2023. The gathering saw influential education leaders from across Europe convene to deliberate and chart a course for the future of education on the continent. Avicenna International College held its first School Camp at the magnificent surroundings of the soft range of Pilis mountains in Csattogó Völgy at Verőce on 4.-5. September. 2023. All the bilingual high school students, along with their teachers, traveled by train from Nyugati Railway station to Verőce where within a 15 mins walk in a lovely forest path, they reached the campsite.
