At the end of April, we held our first dissemination event about a new initiative at AIC: Our Model UN Club and shared some insights of our participation in the Model UN – BIMUN Conference. The teachers, Ms. Emese, Mr. Márk, and 5 chosen students have been working assiduously on a so-called ‘Pilot year’ of Model UN and preparing its implementation fully into our annual curriculum and school-year schedule.

The Avicenna International College-India Office, Mr Virat Kumar & Ms Kritika, represented the college at the Education Fair event at Surrey Immigration Consultants, Ludhiana. The event took place at the Surrey Immigration Consultants Head Office. It took place on October 31 and November 01 along with intensive meetings and discussions with potential students and their respective parents from all over the Punjab and other places. AIC was the first (or among the first) institutions to stop classes and introduce online education in Hungary. We have reduced the presence of our colleagues to the very minimum required. we continue disinfecting the premises and areas even if there are not used anymore. We continue to further develop our online education programs throughout the Spring and Summer of 2020. This will include the preparation for University Entrance Examinations. National Unity Day – Remembering Together On June 4, Hungary commemorates National Unity Day, marking the signing of the Treaty of Trianon in 1920. This treaty significantly reduced Hungary’s territory and population, making the day a moment of essential remembrance and unity. At AIC, the Pre9 class organised the event. In preparation, they created posters on the topic, which were displayed in the school corridors. Through this creative work, students gained a deeper understanding of the historical background and emotional impact of the day.
