NCUK Regional Manager visits Avicenna International College

We had the honour to host Mr Adam Connor at the AIC, who is the NCUK Regional Manager from Manchester. Mr Adam came to pay us a visit by the invitation of the AIC-NCUK Academic Manager Mr Steve and spent an action-packed full day with us in Budapest, that started with a guided tour in the Hungarian Parliament in the company of Ms Katalin who is in charge of cultural programmes at Avicenna.

From the Avicenna International College (AIC) in Budapest, I took part in an Erasmus short term mobility course in the Eternal City in the first week of December 2021 as part of our project called Building a network in the field of education within the EU. Distant Learning for English language High School programs

Avicenna International College (AIC) has been permitted by the Education Authority of Hungary to provide Distant Learning for English language High School programs (General High school and Natural Sciences High school). Those who complete the program successfully will be granted a high school graduation diploma (Erettsegi) by the Hungarian Government. Diploma in German Language Studies (DGLS)

Diploma in German Language Studies (DGLS) at Avicenna is designed for those students who have completed their high school and plan to continue their studies at a university in Germany, Austria or Swiss where the language of instruction will be German. DGLS focuses on the development of German language skills of the students. All eligible students can apply for this course but prior knowledge of German is not a requirement.

English Foundation Program (EFP) at Avicenna International College prepares the students for successful studies at any European or North American university with respect to general and academic English skills. All credits of EFP are designed based on CEFR (Common European Framework of References for Languages) and prepare our students in 4 skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) for international examinations such as IELTS.

On March 15th, we gather to commemorate the Revolution of 1848, the Hungarian War of Independence against the Habsburg monarchy, a pivotal event in our quest for independence and democratic rights.
