The AIC management has decided to give a special spin to the start of the year and organise team building in a very different way. The scenery for last year’s team building was the Pilis mountains when we went on hiking for the whole day. This time around it had to be a bit different, so we thought of renting two dragon boats and headed to the Danube for rowing.

The purpose of the unique Pető method is to provide assistance to children and young adults with motor disabilities originating from the damage to the central nervous system. The András Pető Faculty (PAK) of Semmelweis University, founded in 1950, holds the esteemed legacy of András Pető and serves as a global hub for conductive education. In March 2023, Avicenna International College (“Avicenna”) signed a memorandum of understanding with Corvinus University of Budapest. Avicenna is a unique local high school in Budapest, that teaches Hungarian curriculum in English language to predominantly international students. Although the University has more than 250 international partners and works with many of the leading high schools in Hungary, this agreement is the first of its kind for Corvinus. We are thrilled to share a unique experience that some of the Grade 9 students at Avicenna International College recently had. On a bright and sunny day, these students took their mathematics class outside, in the school yard. The benefits of holding classes outdoors are numerous and well-known.
