Sustainability and Innovation Project Week took place at Avicenna International College between 24-28th of April. Preparation for the programs started weeks in advance in order to make this a meaningful event for AIC high school students. Students were divided into groups as a way to strengthen cohesiveness and teamwork of the AIC community, and were given specific topics to research and eventually present to their fellow students.

In March 2023, Avicenna International College (“Avicenna”) signed a memorandum of understanding with Corvinus University of Budapest. Avicenna is a unique local high school in Budapest, that teaches Hungarian curriculum in English language to predominantly international students. Although the University has more than 250 international partners and works with many of the leading high schools in Hungary, this agreement is the first of its kind for Corvinus. The promenade (prom) dance night of AIC seniors coupled with the ribbon ceremony (’Szalagavató’ in Hungarian, [lit] ribbon graduation) was held on the 17th of November (Thursday), for the second time in the Ferencváros Cultural Center and Theater. During the ceremony, the Principal of Avicenna High School (Mr. Steve Szabó) gave a welcome speech to open the event highlighting the vast number of international students in the graduating year. During an opening ceremony the President of AIC, Dr. Shahrokh MirzaHosseini, and the Headmaster, Mr. Csaba Dani, held motivating speeches for the high school students, some parents, teachers, and the staff of the Student Center who were present in the event. The AIC students of Grade 12 celebrated their last year and the entrance to the season of final exams in a ceremony called "szalagavató" or "Senior Students Ball: Prom". The event took place on the 13th of December, 2019. The president of AIC, the Prinicipal, other authorities and teachers together with parents enjoyed the evening at Avicenna International College.
