Avicenna - SemmelweisScholarship Program Qualified Hungarian and  international students can apply for the “Avicenna - Semmelweis Scholarship Program” . These scholarships are granted based on past academic, social, and sports history. The financial need of the applicants are also considered. International Foundation Year (IFY) – NCUK : Business Stream

NCUK - IFY Business Stream is an excellent Foundation Year program which prepares AIC students for guaranteed admission to a Partner UK university or studies at any other prestigious university in Europe, Australia or the USA. Students will receive a strong education in general and academic English during this one year course. Special subjects related to their future university studies will also be provided. Semifinal and final exams are organized by NCUK. Successful students will earn a highly valuable certificate of NCUK.

A Level -2 (Grade 12)

A Level-2 or A2 is the second and final year of A Level studies which ends with the exam organized by EDEXCEL-PEARSON. Students of grade 12 can complete their Bilingual High School Program and A2 at the same time. In this way, they can earn two prestigious diplomas of A Level and “Érettségi” conferred by the Hungarian Education Authority.

A Level -1 (Grade 11)

A Level -1 or AS is the first year of an internationally recognized British System offered by the Cambridge University. Those students who have finished 10 years of education with 2 years in secondary education can join this program. Those who join A Level have usually completed their IGCSE but this is not a prerequisite to enroll in this program. The previous studies in Hungary or outside Hungary are always considered positively. AIC students can study Grade 11 and AS in parallel. The science subjects are chosen by the students depending on their future university study plan.

IGCSE is a British education system which stands for International General Certificate of Secondary Education. At Grade 10 students finish their IGCSE program and at the end of the year, they take the exams which leads to international certificates issued by EDEXCEL - PEARSON. We offer a strong basis for languages and science subjects. AIC students are allowed to complete IGCSE-2 together with Hungarian Bilingual High School Grade 10. In this way, they can earn two prestigious diplomas at the end of year 12.

English-Hungarian High School Grade 12

English-Hungarian High School Grade 11

Grade 11 of AIC High School program is in parallel with A Level -1 which prepares the students for a Cambridge qualification. Students can choose to follow both programs simultaneously with spending a little more time and effort. At this grade, AIC students are already fluent in English and have taken a few international exams. Further consolidation of languages and sciences continues at this grade, yet students get introduced to university admission requirements.
