Mobility Experience Harout Parseghian Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the school’s directors and informed of the location where we needed to gather to be introduced with our trainers. ERASMUS + projects and opportunities AIC is proud to announce that after a laborious application process we have obtained 5024 EUR funds from the European Commission for the Erasmus + short-term mobility covering three European destinations. From the Avicenna International College (AIC) in Budapest, I took part in an Erasmus short term mobility course in the Eternal City in the first week of December 2021 as part of our project called Building a network in the field of education within the EU. The time of the visit was carefully chosen to fall on one of the two days special folklore festivals held once a year, called St. Martin’s day, the first day of winter and the last day before the 40 days of Advent, where feast, balls, fairs used to be held. People ate goose and drank new wine and said: „Eat a goose on St. Martin’s Day or you will starve all year”.
