The promenade (prom) dance night of AIC seniors coupled with the ribbon ceremony (’Szalagavató’ in Hungarian, [lit] ribbon graduation) was held on the 17th of November (Thursday), for the second time in the Ferencváros Cultural Center and Theater. The President of Avicenna International College, Dr. Shahrokh MirzaHosseini, personally represented the college at the ICEF 2022 event in Berlin. The event took place at the Intercontinental hotel which is interestingly located on the "Budapest Street". The conference took place between October 31 and November 01 with intensive meetings and seminars with educational experts and consultants from all over the world. AIC congratulates Mirsadra Molaei, 2017 alum of the AIC Avicenna Medical Foundation Program, and current 4th year Semmelweis University Pharmacy student on winning 1st prize at the Semmelweis TDK Scientific Conference. From 2021 Mirsadra joined the Bioanalytical NMR Research Group of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry under the supervision of Dr. Arash Mirzahosseini. Mr. Andras Piko, Mayor of Budapest 8th District, accompanied by the Deputy-Mayor and the Head of Cabinet, visited Avicenna International College on Tuesday 26 of October 2021. On this occasion, AIC colleagues introduced the educational programs for the Hungarian and international students. The cultural and extracurricular programs were also introduced which drew the attention of the delegation. AIC held its second graduation ceremony for the 12th-grade students of the International High School Program (2016-2021) On Monday (15.06.2021). This year was full of isolation for many, therefore we were extremely happy to be able to organize this event. The Ambassador of Iran to Hungary, H.E. Mr. Arefi, and the respected Consul, Mr. Aghamohammadi, paid a visit to Avicenna International College (AIC) on Friday (2020/11/20). They met with a small group of representative students. All health protocols including wearing a face mask, proper distancing, and a maximum number of 10 participants were observed.
